Thank you for taking the time to check and test Multippl.com
As you all know, I have been working on a digital media platform idea for people of multiple cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds since the start of September. The idea came to me in 2018 but I will write a post all about that later! We will focus on the mixed East/Southeast Asian community hence why I have contacted you to ‘test’ the site!
In December 2020 I began contacting web developers/designers to help build a website for this idea. The quotes I received were far too expensive and after consulting many of you, although I had no experience in tech, I decided to try and build the website myself with the help of 2 computer science students. I started on the 4th January 2021.
I had planned to finish the website by the end of February to start asking you all to ‘test’ the website in March. Here we are mid-March and I have finally finished… well almost. There are still some pages that need working on: The privacy policy, term & conditions and content guidelines to name a few.
We are also working on developing mobile responsive pages. So at this moment in time please refrain from accessing the website on your phones!
Please check out the website and see what you think. Please try to Sign in and fill in your bio! If you can also write a post, please fill out the First Post questions or Submit a Post . While you browse around please note that these article titles are all mock-ups but are the kind of content I envisage being on the site.
We have a recommendations form. If you know famous mixed East/Southeast Asian celebrities/ well known people / unsung heroes please share their details so we can get in touch with them and do a feature on them! The more the merrier!
Finally, I would really appreciate it if you could fill out the feedback form below. Ideally, suggestions to optimise the site, pointing things out that I had not thought of or reporting a bug/issue. If you want to remain anonymous you do not need to fill out your name and/or email address. However, if you want me to reply to your feedback please fill in your email address.
