The 18 year old showed nerves of steel to steer past the Czech Marketa Vondrousova in straight sets at Wimbledon.

Emma, who has a Chinese mother and Romanian father, was born in Canada but moved to London when she was 2 years old. Representing Britain in her first Grand-slam she remains the last hope for British women this Wimbledon.

The wildcard Raducanu will face the Romanian Sorana Cirstea in the third round.
